Kisses vs. Sugar Cereal

Little Jared woke up and came into the kitchen the other morning and said to me, "Mom, can I have sugar cereal for breakfast?" I said, "No Jared, we don't have sugar cereal for breakfast. You can have it for a snack when the kids get home from school." He replied quite angrily, "FINE, I won't give you anymore kisses."

I love that kid!

The Piston Cup

For the past few years Jaylee and Jenna have participated in a solo piano recital where they have earned points based on their performance. After earning so many points they are awarded a Gold Cup. Jenna brought home her trophy the other day and it sure looked a lot like the Piston Cup that Lightening McQueen wants to win in the Disney movie "Cars." She played a trick on Little Jared, telling him she had won the Piston Cup. He believed her and was beyond elated! Go Jenna!
