Girls Camp

For the last couple days my mom and I (Jaylee) went to Brighten Meadows for girls camp with our ward! We had a BLAST! We had the best time in the world. Even though my mom isn't the biggest camper, I think she had a pretty great time too! :) The girls in our ward are the funnest ever, and I love being around them. The food we made was really good too. The last night we had testimony meeting, and it was pretty amazing. Every girl's testimony just made us all bawl our eyes out. When the time came for us to leave, I really didn't want too. I had a fabulous time, and I can't wait till next year!

Swimming Fun

Today we went swimming at the local pool with our cousins. We had a great time. Usually, we don't take the time to take pictures at the pool, but we did today! So we wanted share them with you. . .

Chocolate Face

Today for dessert we had chocolate chip cookies. Jared, being the mess maker he is, was sent outside so he wouldn't get chocolate everywhere. Well, I went outside to go check on him, and his face was covered in chocolate! I tried to wipe it, but it wouldn't come off. So I decided to take some pictures.

Classic Skating

Last Monday, the whole Shepherd family got together at Classic Skating for family night. The two older girls brought their skates, and the younger ones brought their scooters. It was finally time for Jared to show off his riding skills! He blew past everyone on his scooter! We had so much fun playing all the games and fortunately, no one got hurt!

Camping and Hiking

A couple days ago our friends invited us to camp out in there backyard, then go on a hike the next morning. We had so much fun! We made foil dinners, smores for dessert, watched a movie outside, and had a great breakfast! The kids were always busy having fun with their friends. The hike was enjoyable too. We hiked up to the waterfall in PG. The views were very cool.

Little Jared: Crime Fighting Moves

Lately Jared has been getting into the whole fighting stage. Once he gets in his position, he is ready! He loves to pretend to punch, kick and more much! He is so cute when he grabs your sleeve, and makes sure you know what color power ranger he is! He gets totally into it, thinking there is bad guys he needs to fight. Sometimes the girls pretend to be the bad guys, and he takes you down real fast! He loves to tackle you and just loves defeating the bad guys.

Jared's Scratch

Two days ago, Jared was riding his scooter like a maniac, (like usual) and he did exactly what we asked him not to do. Ride right into the road! That little boy! Anyway, when he rode into the road his scooter got caught on the end of the driveway, sending him face flat onto the road. His chin was all banged up, and has tons of scratches all over! He was crying pretty hard, and I felt so bad for him! But, that's what he gets for not obeying!

Before the Fireworks

When we went to go see the fireworks in PG, they took awhile to start. The girls thought of ways to entertain them selfs, and they wanted to try jumping up again while taking a picture, to see what they could get. This time, they got the whole family into trying it! We also joked around with each other and had a fun time, and before we knew it, the fireworks started.

The girls had their cousins come over the other day to play and they needed something to do! So they had this idea to try to take pictures while jumping on the tramp, trying to get a picture of them selfs in mid air! This is what they came up with. . .

Firework Fun

On July 4th, our family was able to go to Jared's sister's house to have a fun bbque with them, then go to see the magnificent fireworks in PG. Our family had such a nice time being with our cousins, eating good food, joking with the family, and celebrating this great holiday. The fireworks were *AMAZING* and everyone loved them.

We have a teenager in the house!

Jaylee turned 13, on June 10th! She was very excited to finally be the big ONE THREE. To celebrate, Jaylee invited all of her friends over for a bbque in our backyard, the chocolate fountain, and a movie outside on the tramp! It was so fun! All the girls are so cute and fun to be with, we all had a great time! Here are some pictures!
